Are you an MC licenses truck driver who's "been there and done that" and now wants a role close to home each day?
We are currently looking for experienced Truck drivers with an MC license to join their team in a yard hand role!
That means no deliveries!
Working with the afternoon shift team based in Laverton at a newly rennovated site, you will be moving trucks around the yard for the forkies to load, supporting them with strapping loads and moving curtains, and managing the yard so workflow is optimised.
Afternoon shift 1pm shift available with an immediate start!
MUST HAVE MC Truck License!!
Monday- Friday afternoon shift, 1pm-9pm (+OT)
To be successful, you must demonstrate the following:
- Current MC license and experience driving variety of trucks
- 2-3 years' experience truck driving or working in transport industry
- Knowledge of CoR (Chain of Resopnsibility) and load restrictions
- Able to complete strapping and curtain use
- A view that safety is always the highest priority
- Comprehensive knowledge of freight, load restraint and CoR (Chain of Responsibility)
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Co-operative and collaborative team player
You will require:
- Current Multi Combination truck driving license (MC).
- Driver's license and reliable transport to get to work each day
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Strong communication skills and English reading and writing ability
- Ongoing availability Mon-Fri and commitment
