Our client is a reputable 3PL Warehouse,open since 2000. Despite recent changes in ownership structure, our warehouse operations are thriving, and we are poised for growth. We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Senior IT Manager to join our team and support our technological advancement.

Role Overview:

As a Senior IT Manager, you will consolidate and streamline our IT operations with a single point of leadership. You will manage our IT infrastructure, primarily focusing on system networking, onboarding new starters, and setting up IT equipment. You will also oversee the transition to a newer Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure cost-effective IT auditing and documentation. This role involves occasional travel (once per year) to our national sites across NSW, QLD, and WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT operations, including system networking and onboarding.
  • Manage and document IT processes and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the upgrade to a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Troubleshoot RF scanning and manage on-site servers with cloud backup.
  • Potentially recruit and train an offshore after-hours support team.
  • Collaborate with management to obtain quotes and approve IT expenditures.
  • Optionally, one day a week hybrid work setup, though on-site presence is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably within warehousing or logistics.
  • Strong expertise in system networking and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with WMS upgrades and IT auditing.
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel nationally once a year.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to $150,000 for an ideal candidate.
  • Flexible working hours (6-2 pm, 8-4 pm, 9-5 pm, or 10-6 pm).
