Our client is an industry leader in the manufacturing of housing construction materials, boasting 60 years in the industry and locations Australia wide.
We are on the hunt for a committed, experienced store person to join their team and become a valued support for their warehouse operations.
You'd be responsible for:
* Receiving materials and unloading them carefully, without damaging them, and putting away on counterbalance forklift and by hand
* Loading trucks with products to be taken to building sites, communicating with drivers and assisting them in getting their loads out on time
* Completing warehouse paperwork and organising outgoing and incoming deliveries
* General warehouse organisation, sending emails, and communicating with team members
What you need:
* STRONG counterbalance forklift driving experience including loading and unloading trucks
* A reliable personality, committed to attending your shifts and becoming a valued member of the team long term
* Availability to commence ASAP
* Fit and happy to complete manual tasks when required (not just a sit on the forklift role)
* Confident using a basic computer system and emails
* Driver's license and reliable transport
* Strong communication skills
* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
